Community Engagement Games
Play. Connect. Belong.
Four-day workshop | Ages 13+ | Shorter formats and younger groups can be arranged
None of us are meant to do this alone. This workshop brings back the simple power of gathering, laughter, and being truly seen, using games that are anything but simple, each one built to strengthen brain-body connection, soft skills, and genuine human presence.
WHO THIS IS FOR
First Nations youth and adults, ages 13+ (youth 6 to 12 can join for part of the day)
Community members, staff teams, and groups
Health and wellness initiatives
Youth engagement and child and family services
PROGRAM FOCUS
Human connection and belonging
Reducing isolation and loneliness
Soft skills and emotional intelligence
Brain-body connection and intuition

Storytelling and shared self-discovery
WHY THIS PROGRAM IS DIFFERENT
These are not typical icebreakers. Games draw from theatre, dance, mindfulness, and social science across five categories, Verbal, Intellectual, Physical, Creative, and Hybrid, chosen through a bag selection process where participants draw blind. That unpredictability builds presence, and gives even the quietest person a moment of quiet leadership. The Wellness Oracle cards are woven throughout the workshop.
FORMAT
Four-day workshop, with a five-day option that adds a Healthy Rituals for Wellbeing extension. Full day or split session. Shorter formats and younger groups can be arranged.
CONTINUED SUPPORT
Every engagement includes a Community Keeper, a local person Apollo supports after leaving to help carry the games forward. Whenever possible, a local Elder or Wisdom Keeper is invited to join. Participant evaluations are included for your reports.
